Singapore Circuit Map: Marina Bay Track Layout, Zones and Grandstands

The Marina Bay Street Circuit is a 4.940km night-race track that runs through Singapore’s Civic District and along the waterfront. Unlike most circuits, Singapore sells access by zone as well as by seat, so your grandstand decides which parts of the circuit park you can walk into. This page shows the track layout, the four zones, the gates and where each grandstand sits.

The track runs counterclockwise. The pit straight and the first five turns sit on the Zone 1 and 2 side, while the Padang, Esplanade and Civic District corners sit in Zone 4.

2026 is a sprint weekend (9–11 October). The layout, zones and gates on this page stay the same. For what a sprint weekend changes for your visit, see our Singapore Grand Prix visitor guide.

The Marina Bay Street Circuit has 19 turns. It had 23 until 2023, when the final sector was reworked, so older maps and guides still show the wrong number. We recommend you check any map you find for the 19-turn layout before you plan your seat.

The Marina Bay circuit park is split into four zones, and each grandstand ticket opens some or all of them. Knowing your zone before you arrive saves you a long walk around the outside of the circuit.

ZoneWhat it coversGates
Zone 1 and Zone 2The pit straight side and the early turns, plus the Bayfront stand in Zone 21, 2 and 8
Zone 3A transient link between the zones. It is not a ticketed zoneNone
Zone 4The Padang, Esplanade and Civic District side of the circuit3A, 3B, 4, 5, 6 and 7
Paddock ZoneTeam and F1 paddock area. It is a restricted areaNone

Most grandstands open all four zones. However, Stamford, Padang, Empress and Connaught open Zone 4 only. If you want to watch the pit straight or visit the Zone 1 stages, we recommend you choose a grandstand that covers all zones.

Marina Bay has several distinct sections, and the grandstand you pick decides which one you see. The pit straight and Turns 1 to 5 are on one side of the circuit. The Civic District corners and the waterfront run home are on the other.

These groupings are our own reading of the circuit layout, so treat them as a guide to general location rather than an exact boundary. For which of these stands we rank highest, see our Best Grandstands guide.

Singapore has eight gates, and they split cleanly by zone. Gates 1, 2 and 8 serve Zones 1 and 2. Gates 3A, 3B, 4, 5, 6 and 7 serve Zone 4.

We strongly advise you to check the gate printed on your ticket before you travel. For example, Raffles Grandstand ticket holders are directed to Gates 1 and 2. A gate in the wrong zone can mean leaving the circuit park and re-entering from a different side.

Marina Bay is a street circuit, so it works around existing bridges, kerbs and underpasses. As a result, step-free access varies a lot between zones. The circuit park map marks each underpass as either a ramp or a stairs route, and it also shows overpasses and wheelchair-accessible restrooms.

If you use a wheelchair, we recommend you enter through Gate 4 at Empress to reach Zone 4. The organiser advises this because the position of gates, barriers, overpasses and underpasses blocks other routes. A wheelchair-accessible platform is available at the Padang in Zone 4 for the evening concerts, and a dedicated wheelchair platform sits at the Empress grandstand.

For booking an accessible platform and what you need to bring, see our Singapore Grand Prix visitor guide.
