Which Baku F1 ticket should you buy?
Baku F1 tickets start at €155 for General Admission. Grandstand seats run from €560 to €1,365. Every grandstand ticket includes the pit lane walk and a concert. General Admission includes neither. The race itself takes place on Saturday 26 September.
Here is how we would pick, depending on what matters most to you.
- You want the cheapest way in. General Admission at €155. You move between viewing areas and fan zones along the seafront Boulevard.
- You want a seat without spending heavily. The City grandstand at €560. It is the cheapest reserved seat at the circuit.
- You want shade. Absheron C, Upper or Lower, at €1,365. These are the only covered seats at Baku City Circuit.
- You want the start, the pit stops and the podium. Any Absheron section at €1,285. The grandstand runs along the main straight opposite the team garages.
- You want the castle section. Icheri Sheher at €785. The track narrows to 7.6 metres here, between Turns 7 and 8.
- You want two pieces of track for one price. Mugham at €750. It looks onto the run between Turns 6 and 7 and the exit of Turn 19.
Because this is the last time F1 races at Zandvoort, treat any availability as fleeting – it won’t come back next season.
WHERE TO SIT
The Azerbaijan Grand Prix ticket categories explained
Baku City Circuit sells three categories. What you get changes between them, not only where you sit. One naming point first. The Azneft grandstand is now sold as PASHA Real Estate (Azneft) after a sponsorship deal. It is the same grandstand at Turn 16.
General Admission (roaming ticket)
General Admission at Baku City Circuit is called a roaming ticket. You get access to viewing areas and fan zones around the circuit. Much of that space runs along the Boulevard, the promenade beside the Caspian Sea.
- This ticket includes: entry on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Access to all entertainment and fan zones.
- Not included: a reserved seat. The Wednesday pit lane walk. The concert at Baku’s Crystal Hall.
- Best for: fans on a budget who are happy to stand and move around.
Grandstands
Grandstand tickets are numbered and assigned. There are twelve sections on sale. Absheron is the main grandstand on the start-finish straight, divided into sections A to E. Section A sits nearest the finish line and section E nearest Turn 1. Champions, PASHA Real Estate (Azneft), Icheri Sheher, Mugham and City sit at other points around the circuit.
- This ticket includes: entry from Wednesday to Saturday. A numbered seat. The Wednesday pit lane walk. The concert at Baku’s Crystal Hall. Giant screen views and all fan zones.
- Not included: shade, in ten of the twelve sections.
- Best for: anyone who wants a guaranteed view. The pit lane walk and the concert are bundled in, so the extras narrow the real gap between General Admission and the cheapest seat.
Premium Hospitality
Baku City Circuit sells three hospitality products. The Formula 1 Paddock Club is the top tier, with the Aramco pit lane walk, track tours and driver appearances. The F1 Champions Club sits below it with pit lane views and paddock tours. The VIPLANE Lounge is a Thursday to Saturday lounge with Spanish catering, sold through its own site.
This ticket includes: lounge access and catering. Track and paddock access on the higher tiers.
Not included: a published price. Hospitality figures are not displayed online and must be requested.
Best for: guests who want pit lane and paddock access.

What your Baku F1 ticket covers, and for how long
Baku is the only race on the calendar that sells two different ticket lengths. The difference is worth understanding before you book flights.
Grandstand tickets start on Wednesday. They run from Wednesday 23 September to Saturday 26 September. Wednesday is included because the pit lane walk takes place that afternoon. If you hold a grandstand ticket and land on Thursday morning, you have paid for a day you cannot use. We recommend you arrive on Wednesday morning at the latest.
General Admission starts on Thursday. It runs from Thursday 24 September to Saturday 26 September. No pit lane walk is included, so there is no reason to arrive early.
The pit lane walk is on Wednesday. Two large reseller sites currently list it as a Thursday event. That is incorrect for 2026, and booking around it would cost you the walk you paid for.
Baku CIRCUIT MAP and Where the Action is
Baku City Circuit, 6.003 km and 20 corners, run on public roads through central Baku. The castle section between Turns 7 and 8 narrows to 7.6 metres and climbs past the walls of the old city. The main straight along the Boulevard runs for over two kilometres. Key viewing spots are Turn 1 at the end of that straight, Turn 8 in the castle section, Turn 16 at Azneft Square, and the start-finish line in front of Absheron.

Where to sit: a quick orientation
A short orientation here. For the full stand-by-stand assessment, please see our dedicated guide.
- Absheron C, Upper and Lower. The middle of the main straight. You see the start, the finish, the pit stops and the braking for Turn 1 from one seat.
- Absheron E. The far end of the main straight, closest to the Turn 1 braking zone. This is where first-lap incidents happen.
- PASHA Real Estate (Azneft). Turn 16, a heavy braking point and one of the better overtaking views.
- Icheri Sheher. The castle section, where the cars pass a UNESCO world heritage site at the narrowest point on the lap.
- Mugham. On the Boulevard by the Puppet Theatre. You see two separate stretches of track.
- City. The cheapest reserved seat and the closest stand to downtown Baku.

Buying tickets: what to know before you check out
Two routes are official. Baku City Circuit sells directly at bakucitycircuit.com through iTicket, and tickets are also on sale at tickets.formula1.com. Several reseller sites carry Baku listings at prices from previous seasons, so we recommend you compare before buying elsewhere.
Tickets arrive as print-at-home files. There is nothing to collect on arrival and no shipping cost.
Group orders are seated together. If you want to sit with the people you are travelling with, we recommend you buy every ticket in one transaction.
The early-bird discount has closed. There was 20% off until mid-December 2025 and 15% off until the end of January 2026. General sale pricing now applies everywhere.
First time at the Zandvoort? Read this before you pick a ticket
The circuit sits inside the city. Most grandstands are within walking distance of hotels, restaurants and metro stations. Heydar Aliyev International Airport is around 25 minutes away. You will not need the shuttle and car park routine that most circuits require.
The two halves of the circuit are very different. The castle section is slow and tight, with the cars close enough to touch. The Boulevard straight is the fastest stretch in Formula 1. Your ticket decides which of the two you watch, so we recommend you choose the one you want to see.
Walls line most of the lap. Baku produces safety cars, red flags and restarts more often than most circuits. The 2025 race had a record six red flags in qualifying.

Azerbaijan Grand Prix tickets: FAQs
1. How much are Baku F1 tickets?
The cheapest ticket is General Admission at €155. The most expensive grandstand seat is Absheron C at €1,365. That range makes the Azerbaijan Grand Prix one of the cheapest races on the Formula 1 calendar to attend.
2. Why is the 2026 Azerbaijan Grand Prix on a Saturday?
Sunday 27 September is Azerbaijan’s national day of remembrance for the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The race weekend was moved forward by a day so that the Grand Prix does not fall on it. We would strongly advise you to check your flights against a Saturday race day.
3. Which grandstands at Baku City Circuit are covered?
Only Absheron C, in both its Upper and Lower sections. Every other grandstand at the circuit is open to the sky, including the other five Absheron sections. Several guides state that the whole Absheron grandstand is covered, so please check the section letter before you book.
4. Is the concert included with an Azerbaijan Grand Prix ticket?
Yes, with every grandstand ticket, at no extra charge. The concerts take place at Baku Crystal Hall on the evenings of the race weekend, and past line-ups have included Martin Garrix, Will Smith and Glass Animals. Entry is first come, first served and subject to capacity, so arriving early matters. General Admission tickets do not include concert access.
5. Can I choose my own seat at Baku City Circuit?
No. Seats are numbered but assigned automatically, so you will not see a seating map at checkout. Your seat location appears on the e-ticket once it is issued.
6. Are there child discounts for Baku F1 tickets?
Yes, on grandstands only. Children aged 2 to 16 pay a junior rate on every grandstand. The saving is smallest on Absheron, at around 15%, and largest on the City grandstand, where a junior ticket costs €395 against €560. General Admission is sold at one price for everyone.
7. What is the difference between the Azneft and PASHA Real Estate grandstands?
They are in the same grandstand. Azneft was renamed PASHA Real Estate (Azneft) under a sponsorship agreement. It sits at Turn 16, and older guides and some reseller listings still use the Azneft name alone.
8. Do I need a visa to attend the Azerbaijan Grand Prix?
Most visitors do. Azerbaijan runs an online e-visa system that takes a few days to process, and in previous race years a dedicated arrangement has allowed Grand Prix ticket holders to obtain a visa on arrival. We recommend you apply for the e-visa in advance rather than relying on that, and check the current rules for your nationality before you travel.
9. Can I pay with a foreign card when buying Baku F1 tickets?
Usually, but not always. Some overseas buyers have reported card authentication failing on the Baku City Circuit site and app, particularly with cards issued outside Europe. If that happens to you, tickets.formula1.com is the other official route and processes international payments without the same problem.
10. Is Baku a good first Formula 1 race?
We think it is one of the better choices. The circuit sits in the city centre, so travel is simple and you can walk to the track. Tickets are cheaper than at most European rounds, and the concerts and fan zone give you more to do than a standard race weekend. The main caution is that only one grandstand is covered, so please factor shade into your choice.
